Gran Vía Apartment
Design

The project responds to the task of renovating and converting into a house, an office located in the Gran Vía of Valencia.

The initially distribution, consisted of a succession of connected rooms through a long dark corridor. The intervention raises a reorganization of the space to incorporate light into the house and provide higher quality to the interior.

During the process it is observed that the original moldings had been hidden by a false ceiling. It is decided to recover the original height of each room with the original moldings, with a careful restoration of them.

It is used a short range of colors. White in the walls and ceilings and a handmade ceramic pavement. This pavement provide continuity to the entire space and enhance the beauty of the moldings.
